Job Description:

This global company is one of the the largest suppliers of specialized metals & alloys. They have been in business since the 1980's and are continuing to grow. In 2017 they recently partnered with another metal manufacturing group allowing them to expand their sourcing and R&D possibilities. They have a diverse group of customers and their metals are used in cell phones, LED lighting, pharmaceuticals, and paints. They are looking to add an accountant to their team that will be able to handle all accounting duty's and functions for their team. They are located in Southwestern, CT and have a small office with 7 -staff members, as well as warehouse on site. You will have the opportunity to grow within the company and improve your career!

Responsibilities:

Recording and reporting measurements for the cost of manufactured goods.

New system implementation.

Company reporting

Reconciliation of purchasing and revenue.

Managing company budget.

Utilizing company -historic cost data to forecast future costs.

Auditing financial statements, analysis, and engagement.

Compliance with outside auditors.

Managing company taxes.

Inventory Management: Purchasing, monitoring the levels of inventory, working terms with vendors.

Qualifications:

5 + years professional experience in accounting (will consider less)

CPA preferred but not required.

Required IT Skills:

Advanced excel skills.

QuickBooks.

Magnitude.

Powerpoint.

Word.

Salary:

$75,000 - $80,000
