Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards. • Develop and manage annual budgets, collaborating with team members across departments. • Conduct grant reporting and ensure alignment with funding requirements. • Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analyses to support decision-making processes. • Identify and analyze variances in financial data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. • Utilize advanced Excel skills to organize, interpret, and present data effectively. • Support accounting functions as necessary to maintain accurate financial records. • Contribute to data mining efforts to uncover trends and enhance forecasting capabilities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial planning processes. • Provide recommendations for improving financial efficiency and enhancing resource allocation.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the non-profit or public sector. • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and complex formulas. • Strong skills in conducting variance analysis and interpreting financial data. • Familiarity with grant reporting processes and associated compliance requirements. • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and deliver actionable recommendations. • Experience with data mining techniques to identify trends and improve forecasting. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
