Selected candidate will be responsible for providing senior administrative assistant support to multiple directors and senior managers for our integrated engineering organizations in our Sikorsky office located in Stratford, CT. Candidate should possess a high level of administrative assistant experience including calendar management, independent decision making, proactive responses to tasks and projects and excellent interpersonal skills including effective communication skills. Advanced level experience required with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly focused on Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. SharePoint, Concur, Zoom and BOX experience a plus.

The position will perform a variety of administrative duties and other office management tasks, to include:
-Calendar management. Ensure director level calendars are updated and accurate. Proactively manage and deconflict schedules for smooth workflow.
-Provide prompt follow-up to meeting requests and correspondence.
-Respond quickly to changes to meetings and logistics, effectively to all parties.
-Work closely with staff assistants across LM to schedule meetings and coordinate communication between leaders.
-Prepare meeting materials for leadership team in advance of meetings.
-Organize travel and plan itineraries for domestic and international travel.
-Prepare accurate expense reports in timely manner for Directors and others as assigned.
-Prepare, edit and proof correspondence, presentations and reports utilizing MS Office suite.
-Attend, collect and distribute staff meeting minutes for directors.
-Able to maintain confidentiality of projects and assignments as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate will exercise discretion and sound judgment, relieving the Directors and other leaders of details not requiring their involvement.
-Prior experience supporting director and senior level management
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and knowledge of how to effectively integrate with compatible services (e.g. iPhone)
-Experience with and ability to set up SharePoint sites or BOX for maintaining & retention of metrics, data and presentations.
-Extensive experience with making/changing travel and meeting arrangements both domestic and international
-Extensive experience with preparing and submitting expense reports
-Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and quickly adjust to changing priorities
-Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
-Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deal with executive level contacts both within and outside of the company
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Attention to detail is key to success of this position
-Effective organizational and decision-making skills
-Ability to form and sustain effective working relationships amongst all levels of personnel
Desired Skills:
-Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with particular focus on Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
-Domestic and International travel arrangement experience
-Demonstrated flexibility
-Proficient in handling competing priorities and/or requests
-Event/business meeting planning
-Quick learner on new systems (i.e. BOX, Confluence, Tableau)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
