Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This position offers an opportunity to provide
essential support to special education teachers and school
psychologists by assisting with existing caseloads in a K-12 school
setting located in Waterbury, CT. The role requires bilingual
skills and expertise as either a special education teacher or
school psychologist to support approximately 50 students. This
contract position offers flexibility in scheduling, ranging from
part-time to full-time hours. Qualifications: Connecticut Educator
Certificate with a Comprehensive Special Education endorsement
issued through the Connecticut State Department of Education, OR
Connecticut Educator Certificate with a School Psychologist
endorsement (070) under the special services category Bilingual
proficiency required Job Details: Contract period: January 21, 2026
June 17, 2026 Hours per week: 6.5 to 32.5 Days per week: 1 to 5 Age
group served: Kindergarten through Grade 12 Caseload support for
approximately 50 students Responsibilities: Provide support to
special education teachers and school psychologists with current
caseloads Assist in delivering specialized instruction aligned with
students individualized education plans Collaborate with staff to
ensure effective educational strategies and interventions
Communicate effectively with students, families, and team members
