Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will
ensure that assigned machines are fully production ready,
maintaining operational output and quality standards. You will be
responsible for the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
by completing preventive maintenance on production machines,
components, and tools, including blowers, motors, pneumatics,
electronics, and conveyor systems. Your role is crucial in
troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing problems with oven
systems, induction furnaces, and automated/semi-automated
manufacturing machinery to ensure production readiness.
Responsibilities Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical
equipment by completing preventive maintenance on production
machines, components, and tools. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair
problems with oven systems, induction furnaces, and
automated/semi-automated manufacturing machinery. Minimize downtime
by training production workers in routine preventive maintenance
techniques. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and
engineering specifications to troubleshoot and resolve
malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical
devices in operation and using precision measuring instruments.
Evaluate and repair devices using hoists, cranes, hand, and power
tools. Inspect and maintain building mechanical and electrical
systems, including HVAC and fire prevention systems. Complete daily
maintenance tasks through work order forms, demand, and preventive
activities. Collaborate within teams committed to excellence and
continuous improvement. Essential Skills Electrical and mechanical
skills. Degree in industrial maintenance or similar. Maintenance
mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of
electricity principles, PLC controls, mechanics, pneumatics,
hydraulics, switch gears, transformers, and power distribution.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Siemens and Schneider
drives and controls), servos, and variable frequency drives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with
CMMS. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate degree required.
Minimum of 2 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing
PLCs, servos, and VFDs. 2 years experience in pneumatics and
hydraulics. 2 years experience with switch gears, transformers, and
power distribution. 2 years experience resolving mechanical issues
on industrial machinery. 2 years experience performing preventive
maintenance on complex automated production machines. Why Work

The work environment is climate-controlled and well-lit, providing
a comfortable setting for all team members. The normal schedule for
the first shift is 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday. Job Type &
Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sussex, WI. Pay
and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 -
$72000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and
may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
