seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the
following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of
various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics,
electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies,
electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics
rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other
similar-complexity assemblies. What You Will Do Evaluates failed
electrical assemblies, products, and components – using test and
measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down
to the component level – with strong emphasis on evaluation
hands-on experience and manual test, including point-to-point
Continuity Testing. Electronics troubleshooting through technical
experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written
step-by-step procedures (non-existent) Has a strong sense of
ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable
expectations. Works with senior Electrical Engineering, test
technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating,
repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair
& Return processes. Proficient in reading and fully interpreting
Assembly Drawings and Schematics Maintains control of all
Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes –
ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes. Supports the
culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects This will
be a 1st shift, onsite role. Qualifications You Must Have HS
Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience
Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment,
including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network
Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc. Experience with Microsoft
Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.) U.S. Citizen - the
ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security
clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S.

43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
