All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:The Sikorsky Aerostructures Product Center is responsible for the manufacture, procurement and assembly of helicopter airframe structures. The Product Center has an immediate opening for an Operations Business Manager supporting our Bridgeport, Stratford and Troy operations where detail parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies and major component joining activities are conducted in support of UH/HH-60M, HH-60W, MH-60R, MH-60T and CH-53K airframe structures.The Operations Business Manager position will report directly to the Aerostructures Product Center General Manager and is responsible for coordinating efforts related to the Product Center s business analytics, program interface, the centers current and long-term strategy as well as current and future transformation efforts.The successful candidate will be able to work with various functional support organizations including but not limited to: Quality, Material Logistics, Program Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance and Human Resources and the companies program markets segments (Military and Commercial) to ensure successful planning and execution of the Product Center s deliverables. Specific responsibilities include, establishing, planning and monitoring the execution of Aerostructures Major and Back shop Manufacturing efforts, support periodic analysis of annual shop load and resulting staffing requirements as well as monitoring, controlling and reporting on all key centers deliverables (schedule and costs monthly) to all customer organizations. The Business Manager will also lead all efforts on direct and indirect cost controls, key point of contact for all Product Center bid and proposal activity, a key resource in all internal and external audits across the Product Center and as well as coordinate Product Center briefings to Operations and Programs leadership as required. Additionally, the Business Manager will lead transformative efforts including assisting with establishing the vision, planning and execution for the future state of the Aerostructures Product Centers work content and associated physical and equipment capital requirements as well as a key resource in the center s future digital transformation efforts.Basic Qualifications:B.A/B.S. Finance, Business or equivalent experience.Highly motivated, flexible individual with proven communication, analytical and organizational skills.Requires a working knowledge of Operations, Finance and Program / Project Management (minimum 10 years)Can work effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization.Excellent presentation skills and proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWorking knowledge in SAP, Export compliance and Planning & Control functions is a plusContinuous Improvement experience preferred but not requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
