All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description: Model-Based Systems Engineering is an area of Digital Transformation that is in continued growth. Managing this growth is of importance to the organization. The Systems Engineering (SE) organization is looking for a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Associate Manager to work with Chief Systems Engineers, a team of Systems Engineering Managers, and support engineers in leading program specific tasking and people management. The MBSE Associate Manager will be responsible for working with other SE Managers in leading diverse teams of Systems Engineering staff on the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs, such as the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA). The ideal candidate will have direct experience leading a team of systems engineers.The MBSE Associate Manager must also have experience in requirements management, validation and verification, airworthiness support, and requirements traceability and flow-down. Direct experience utilizing the Cameo tool and DOORS to create and manage requirements models is required.The MBSE Associate Manager will work with FVL programs to ensure proposal efforts are coordinated across Systems Engineering and the SEIT.The ideal candidate will also be responsible to mentor a staff of Systems Engineering Cameo modelers and requirements managers to ensure appropriate requirements are being generated and flowed to the appropriate segments. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for training and staffing of personnel, including reporting and status of WFA and GRID for resource planning.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering.7+ years Engineering Experience in Systems Engineering2+ years of MBSE experience directly using Cameo tool2+ years experience creating and updating Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) Compliant proposal estimates, creating and updating.Desired Skills:Master's in Systems Engineering desired, but not required.Experience with Resource planning tools, Work Force Analytics (WFA)Desire to mentor and grow staff of diverse Systems Engineers.Ability to communicate complex technical data to all levels within engineering and management.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
