Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Internal Medicine Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is working with One of Hudson Valley's Premiere Medical Groups is seeking experienced RN's to work within their Flu Clinic Center at their Poughkeepsie, NY. Job Function: Day Shift. 9am - 5pm. Assigns patients and physicians to exam rooms. Provide basic patient care and treatments. Prepares daily assignment for medical support staff. Communicates with front desk staff as necessary. Prepares the patient for exams and procedures. Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions to patients. Administers medications including all types of injections, IV therapy as needed and within the scope of licensure. No Weekends. Privately owned physician practice. State of the art facilities in Briarcliff Manor. Team oriented office environment. Job Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. 1 year of experience in an outpatient medical group or community health clinic. Current CPR certification.
