Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: New Brunswick, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $3,354 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified CVOR RN in New Brunswick, New Jersey, 08901! Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – New Jersey Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Full-time assignment with rotating call requirements; approximately one weekend per month of 24-hour call coverage (Saturday and Sunday); 32 total on-call hours per month; will float to Main OR if there are no CVOR cases during shift Highlights: Specialize in cardiovascular surgery including open heart procedures, CABG, and valve replacements (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic) Gain experience with advanced cardiac devices including Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and TAVR procedures Scrub experience required for open CVOR cases and TAVR; circulating responsibilities also expected Work with a comprehensive adult cardiac surgery program including laser lead extractions Hospital-provided scrubs included Local candidates welcome; first-time travelers considered with relevant experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of cardiovascular OR nursing experience required Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission BLS certification required; CNOR preferred Scrub experience for open CVOR cases and TAVR required Knowledge of cardiac devices including Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and laser lead extraction equipment Both scrub and circulate experience with adult open heart surgery required Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays Willingness to float within specialty skillset as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program serving adult and geriatric populations.
