x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About
the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty:
Med/Surg Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:30 AM Hours per
Shift: 11.50 Experience: Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg
experience in a large acute care hospital setting. Recent
experience within the past year is required. License: New York
State RN License & Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA
BLS, AHA ACLS (Queens only) Must-Have: Associates Degree in Nursing
from an accredited educational institute Description: Assessing,
planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in
consultation with healthcare professionals. Evaluating medical
information and providing direct bedside nursing care to pre-and
post-surgery patients. Preparing, administering, and recording
prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters,
and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed
and interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients'
vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely
manner. Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare
team. Answering questions and educating patients and their families
on surgical procedures and post-surgery care. Maintaining and
updating patient files, medical charts, and health records.
Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols.
Required skills include physical assessment, medication
administration, wound care & infection control, IV therapy,
post-operative care, patient education, and telemetry monitoring.
Preferred skills include EPIC EMR experience. Requirements Required
