ID: 75209533 Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM This is true at home position where nurse must travel (her own transportation, rate Description: Job may include but are not limited to:-Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.-Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.-Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.-Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.-Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.-Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.-Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team.-Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care.-Maintaining and updating patient files, medical charts, and health records.-Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols. Schedule is true at home position where nurse must travel (her own transportation, rate is all inclusive) to patient homes. The nurse must have at home experience. This is within the Queens borough and there are on average 4-8 patients a day to be seen. RTO requests will be evaluated upon completing the first 13 weeks. Holidays must be worked by nurses. Local candidates only.Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Acute Facilities: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year.-Post Acute Facilities: Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in either Post Acute Facility or acute care hospital setting.
