This position requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide top-notch care to patients recovering from general surgeries and traumatic injuries. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in the general surgery trauma unit Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care Participate in patient and family education regarding post-surgical care and injury recovery Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly Maintain accurate patient records and report any discrepancies to the supervising physician Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations for patient care and safety Strong clinical skills in a surgical or trauma unit Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
