Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring 2 years of MRI experience and current ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the MRI department of an acute care hospital - Evening schedule, Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM - Call coverage required as needed - Patient care includes assistance with breast MRI patients and positioning - Participation in orientation modules required before start and annually - Return staff must be gone for at least 2 years to be eligible - Navy blue scrubs are required - Free parking is provided - Up to 7 days of requested time off can be automatically approved - Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required; 1.5 years accepted with Level I trauma or prior travel experience - Connecticut MRI license required if applicable - Must hold ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MR) certification to obtain CT license - 1 professional reference required for consideration - Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted - COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions accepted - Must live more than 75 miles from the facility for eligibility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661322.
