POSITION TYPE: Allied Health SPECIALTY UNIT: Operating Room Scrub
Technician LOCATION: White Plains, NY Westchester County SHIFT:
Monday-Friday, 7a-5p - 4/10 hr shifts JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent
Job Description: Work in collaboration with the surgical team to
provide care to the patient during a surgical/invasive procedure.
Assist with coordination or supplies, instrumentation and equipment
for the surgical procedure. Performs scrub duties for various
surgical procedures/specialties following established
department/hospital policies and procedures. Must be able to take
call in compliance with hospital/department policy. Follows
policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in
the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of
behavior. Responsibilities: Effectively uses laboratory equipment.
Performs and reports testing on patient specimens and OC specimens
rapidly and without delay. Demonstrates competence in performing

tech experience. Looking for Surgical Techs with experience in all
services. Strong Ortho and Neuro a plus as well. Certification by a
nationally accredited surgical technologist credentialing
organization.
