Job Description Job Description /n Responsible for evaluating patients through diagnostic tests and performing therapeutic modalities as prescribed by Physician for treatment of pulmonary disorders. /n Job Responsibility /n /n /n - * Performs Non-Critical Care procedures per established respiratory therapy protocols, including:/n /n - Evaluation and assessment of patient. /n - Pulmonary function testing /n - Arterial blood gas sampling, analysis and quality control. /n /n - * Performs Non-Critical Care treatments including:/n /n - Medical gas therapy /n - Delivery of Inhaled medication /n - Aerosol therapy /n - Bronchial Hygiene therapy /n - Airway management and maintenance /n /n - * Performs Critical Care procedures and treatments including:/n /n - Non-invasive BIPAP /n - Endotracheal Intubation /n - Ventilator management /n /n - * Cleans, assembles and distributes supplies and equipment. /n - Performs related duties, as required. /n /n *ADA Essential Functions /n Job Qualification /n Associate's Degree or equivalent, required. Completion of an accredited two (2) or four (4) year AMA approved respiratory therapist program, required.Current NYS Respiratory Therapist license, required.Registration from the National Board of Respiratory Care, required. *Additional Salary Detail /n The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
