Details - Home health / home care setting - Provides direct speech therapy services to patients across the assigned caseload - Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in the development of comprehensive patient care plans - Requires travel to patient homes; a personal vehicle is mandatory for this role Requirements - Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology required - ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Clinical Fellow candidates will be considered - Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required (license required if applicable) - Minimum 2 years of SLP home care experience required - Active AHA BLS certification required - Valid driver's license required - Acute care experience preferred - Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment including communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration - Current SLP skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position - All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of profile upload; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted - First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, though independent practice ability is required American Traveler Job ID P-680481.
