Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery.--Since opening, Two Roads has grown to be a top 50 independent craft brand in the United States out of 8,000+ breweries, and has been named one of the ten best breweries in America.--They have won numerous awards for their craft beers.Two Roads isn't just the logo on our brewery building, it's our philosophy.--Life always seems to offer up two ways to go.--It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way- in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers!--Two Roads is looking for an HR Business partner to join our dynamic, hardworking team. The HRBP is responsible for effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR functions and procedures, and for monitoring HR projects and workflow.--The manager must also support organizational planning for staffing and recruitment, compensation and performance management, workplace safety, training strategies and employee development, and company-wide communication.----The HRBP also ensures that sound, practical and consistent practices are applied for all employees through compliance with company HR policies and local, state and federal labor laws and regulations.The position reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with all department heads to ensure the accomplishment of the Company's stated goals and policies.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Work with department heads to formulate, recommend and implement Human Resources and safety policies and objectives for the entire company.--Ensure that all policies are applied fairly and consistenly to all employees.Ensure compliance to all government regulations including federal and state unemployment, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, and mandated posters.--Direct the preparation of information requested or required for compliance.--Act as primary contact with outside government agencies regarding employment and safety matters.Work with the CEO to create a diversity strategy for the Company.Collaborate with department heads to evaluate department structure, job design, and staff forecasting.--Evaluate plans and requested changes to plans and make recommendations to senior management.Establish, improve or maintain existing wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance management, incentive plans,--employee benefit programs and services, and company health programs.--Monitor for effectiveness and cost containment.Establish recruiting and placement practices to identify and secure talented co-workers for the Company.--Interview all manager-level candidates and others as appropriate.--Become knowledgable about industry norms on compensation and benefits.Work with department heads to create training programs and budgets for each department.Lead and coach department heads in identifying, evaluating and resolving human relations and work performance problems.Update and maintain job descriptions for all positionsCoordinate benefits providers including health insurance, training specialists, labor counsel, and other related outside sources.Approve and review all terminations, conduct exit interviews, and arbitrate unresolved complaints.Direct company-wide communications.SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS5-8 years of experience as an HR generalist with broad knowledge of employment laws, compensation management, organizational planning, employee relations, recruiting, and training and development best practices.Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or related studiesStrong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communcation skills, resourcefulnessPossess an empowering management style; comfortable interacting with employees "on the floor" and in the office, with a keen interest in developing and coaching employees toward their own personal goals and the Company's.Attitude: Positive, team oriented and results driven with a good sense of humor.
