As a Software Engineer, Data within Aumni’s Internal Facing Data Platform team, you will be integral in implementing the data infrastructure and delivering data products to teams across the organization in a secure, stable and scalable way. Job Responsibilities Write scalable and high-quality SQL contributing to the building of data models serving data products Create secure and high-quality production code contributing to the infrastructure of data products Support design and governance of structure, storage, and flow of data across distributed systems in various cloud environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering efforts with business goals and objectives Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide data frameworks, tools, and practices in the Software Development Life Cycle Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience Practical experience with pub/sub architecture for real-time data processing and event-driven systems Practical experience delivering data warehouses and analytical schemas in complex domains using patterns such as Data Vault or Star Schemas Practical experience in advanced SQL environments Practical experience building, monitoring and improving ETL/ELT Pipelines Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audience Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure our product and organization is on track to meet our goals Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience in Venture Capital/Private Equity Experience with Debezium/Kafka Experience with Apache Airflow Experience with Snowflake To be eligible for this position, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
