The Role Comity is looking for a project finance professional to lead the structuring and execution of transactions across renewable energy markets. In this role, you will: Own transaction execution end-to-end: Take opportunities from evaluation through structuring, negotiation, and close, with full ownership of deal outcomes. Lead underwriting and structuring: Analyze transactions, build financial models, assess downside scenarios, and design structures that enable execution. Build and manage relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for our client portfolio, developing durable, trust-based relationships. Innovate: Develop innovative collateral structures and push the boundaries of what we can deliver across counterparties, constraints, and use cases. Contribute to platform development: Act as a core user of our underwriting and origination systems, providing insights to engineering to improve workflows and AI-driven risk tools. We’re excited about you because Experienced project finance professional: You have 6 years of experience in renewable energy project finance, analyzing, structuring, and executing complex transactions in the US. Creative structurer: You know how to get deals done. You are capable of designing innovative structures, working around constraints, and expanding what can be offered to clients. Highly analytical: You are fluent in complex financial models and think naturally in terms of downside cases, risk allocation, and structural mitigants. Strong communicator with executive presence: You explain complexity with clarity and conviction, and are comfortable engaging directly with senior counterparties and stakeholders. Commercial and relationship-driven: You build strong relationships, develop trust quickly, and can position differentiated financial solutions in competitive institutional markets. Team-oriented operator: You operate with high ownership and low ego, and elevate the performance of the teams around you. Collateral insight: You understand how credit support is structured (e.g., letters of credit, surety bonds) in renewable energy transactions.
