Interstate Waste Services, a leader in sustainable waste management in the U.S. Northeast, seeks a dedicated Manager of Site Operations MRF to oversee daily activities at our Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and compliance of our operations, contributing to our mission of reducing environmental impact while providing exceptional service. The successful candidate will manage operations, maintain employee safety, optimize processes, and lead sustainability initiatives. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Material Recovery Facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Manage budgets, control expenses, and analyze facility performance data to ensure operational efficiency and profitability Lead, train, and develop a team of operations staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment Implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and waste reduction Regularly inspect and maintain operational equipment, ensuring all machinery meets safety and performance standards Liaise with other departments, including customer service and logistics, to enhance overall service delivery and address client concerns Prepare reports and present operational results and improvement plans to senior management In-depth knowledge of waste management and recycling procedures Strong leadership and team management skills Proven ability to manage budgets and control operational costs Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Waste Professional (CWP) preferred OSHA Safety Certifications
