Operations Supervisor Seeking a warehouse supervisor for daily
operations. Candidate will be trained in all areas of warehouse
operations starting with returns area, all modes of shipping,
receiving and the various methods of processing new store
shipments, cross dock cartons and Pack to Light cartons to retail
stores. - Oversee the daily receipt of damaged and recall
merchandise. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the
receiving process and contact the correct department when unable to
solve the problem. - Work with the Merchandising Department to
insure that all RTVs are processed and prepared in a timely manner.
- Contact vendors through email or by phone to schedule pick-ups
for RTV merchandise as needed. - Confirm that all damages are
returned to vendors via Fedex ground or vendors carrier
daily/weekly. - Work with Inventory control to make sure that all
damage/recall cartons that show delivering to Rainbow are processed
in the system. - Insure that the re-hash department runs smoothly
and assist in trouble shooting any problems that may arise.
Requirements - Previously managed staff - Computer literate,
experience with AS400 a plus. - Good communications skills and
ability to learn &comprehend new information quickly - Must be
highly organized to work in a fast paced atmosphere Company
