Job Description:
PDS Tech is seeking an Industrial Engineer / Production Planner
for an open position in Stratford CTThe ideal candidate will be a
degreed Industrial Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in
Aerospace (Fixed or Rotary Wing) who can estimate, plan and analyze
cost and schedule performance.The Industrial Engineer (IE) /
Production Planner will work in the Flight Operations Department
and track, report and analyze progress of the Flight Program of
aircraft in the Hangar.The ideal candidate will: * Analyze and
design sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies
in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts* Establish
methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and
personnel. * Conducts studies pertaining to cost control and cost
reduction.The ideal candidate may: * Establish or assist in
establishing accident prevention measures* Manage training programs
for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. *
Assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of
