Description:HPLC method development and validationGC method development and validationPhysical testing method development and validation including adhesive strength, peel force, and shear adhesion of transdermal patches, viscosity of blends and raw materials, and dissolution of finished productPrepare and assist in the drafting and approval of protocols and reports, including lab-specific SOPsMonitor and test ongoing and new stability programsThoroughly maintain a meticulous lab notebook Review and sign off on junior chemist lab notebooksKeep lab clean, orderly, and stocked with appropriate materialsMaterial sourcing and procurement Maintain and troubleshoot all analytical instrumentationSupport and foster the development of junior chemistsDetect, conduct, and report laboratory investigationsWorks under minimal supervisionDetect abnormalities during performances of tests and reviews. Elevate abnormalities to supervisorPerform lab method transfers and participate in method validation/verification studiesSkills:Hplc, gas chromatography, Gmp, Wet chemistry, Chemistry, Method validation, Analytical chemistry, fda, pharmaceutical, medical device, physical testingTop Skills Details:BS/MS/PhD Chemistry or related field5+ years experience working in an analytical lab (pharma or equivalent preferred)HPLC and GC requiredMethod Development & ValidationGMP experienceAuditing experience a plusCoating experience a plusAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Minimum BS degree Chemistry or related field (PhD or MS preferred)5 plus years of experience in pharmaceutical or like-industryWorking knowledge of pharmaceutical, OTC, and/or medical device industryExperience with transdermal patch technology, coated thin films, and/or similar coated products a plusKnowledge of FDA and other regulatory agency guidelines Previous managerial or supervisory/team lead capacityFull proficiency with various laboratory techniques/instruments: HPLC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, GC, dissolution tester, viscometer, Karl Fischer titrator, pH meter, analytical balance, Agilent ChemStation, etc.Thorough knowledge of applicable safety and standards guidelines, such as SOP, cGMP/GLP, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, and FDAExperience Level:Expert Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
