**Description:** Successful applicants will have excellent
communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with a
customer-focused approach. The primary focus of this position is to
provide technical Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) support to
the Core ESH organization, focusing on environmental compliance.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging business

Direct responsibilities include:
Work with Sikorsky Line and ESH Management in the implementation
of an effective ESH program in an effort to meet or exceed ESH
Coordinate and present ESH training programs as required by
federal, state, local and company requirements.
Facilitate and participate in ESH incident investigations and
root cause analysis.
Perform ESH inspections.
Review, write and revise procedures and standard work as it
Review and update data in various ESH systems as they relate to
hazardous waste management, chemical management, air compliance,
water compliance, Department of Transportation, Commercial Motor
Vehicle Program, and ATF Management and Emergency Response
Provide support to Sikorsky CT Locations as it relates to
environmental compliance tasks.
Assist with the transition to LM ESH data management
Work with ESH and site staff on the roll out of the LM Business
Assist with LM GoGreen program implementation.
Knowledgeable in OSHA, EPA and CT DEEP regulations
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to track, trend and analyze data
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and be
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Applicant must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's
Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental
Engineering, or related field at an accredited college or
university to be considered for this position.
