Perform full lifecycle product development and documentation for
X-ray cabinet and imaging systems
Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging
problems within a cross-functional team environment
Estimate budget and scope of the project
Prepare product reports and documentation
Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to
help improve performance, safety, and reliability
Responsible for mechanical design aspects of cabinet X-ray and
portable X-ray machines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage projects using engineering principles and design new
production processes (design, test prototype, manufacture, and

Oversee design processes from developing product concepts to
Design parts for plastic injection mold parts, sheet metal, and
CNC part processes.
Develop refined drawings and assemblies with accurate
manufacturing dimensioning and tolerance.

Manage the construction of prototypes; review, test, and draw
conclusions from prototypes and samples.
Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability, and

Work with the part suppliers and manufacturing team to ensure
that product cost are within budget.
Test designs for radiation absorption, hindrance, decreasing

MS in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial and/or manufacturing
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including

Experienced in leading DFMEA, and PFMEA activities
High degree of proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM, tolerancing,
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, thermal and structural
analysis, and plastic injection molding processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced research and development
Ability to analyze and incorporate cross-functional design
inputs into final product design.
Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
Experience in X-ray irradiation and image systems a plus.
