A Day in the Life:Lead a group of Future Vertical Lift (FVL) Avionics Manufacturing Engineers for Process Design, Work Instruction Planning, and Aircraft Installation Support of Electrical Equipment and Wiring installations, evaluating designs for producibility, developing tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations. Will also be responsible for providing technical leadership for M/E activity including; planning, testing, and tooling for production / O operations; outsource supplier M/E support.; planning, testing, and tooling for all new and legacy programs; EESH initiatives, cost reduction / process improvement initiatives; Quality improvement initiatives; ITC obligations; and leadership for all technology insertion. Manage so all technical, cost and schedule objectives are met and risks mitigated. Provide leadership in the development of organizational standard work and develop/and maintain staffing to ensure necessary resources are timely and accurate to execute all Avionics M/E objectives. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
