Job Description:

Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. Inventory Clerk responsibilities will include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. This is the Inventory Clerk position for you if you are a detailed oriented inventory detail oriented with excellent math and communication skills!

What you get to do every day

- Working closely with the purchasing manager and inventory analyst

- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times

- Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs

- Handling document discrepancies

- Various data entry tasks

- Managing items by counting and classifying

- Control inventory by stocking and cataloging products

- Ensure physical counts and computer records match, calling out any discrepancies Requirements - Must have an understanding of the range of services and products offered by the company

- 1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred

- Excellent analytical thinking skills and mathematical capabilities

- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

- High attention to detail is critical, as well as problem solving skills

- Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets

- High school diploma or equivalent required
