Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Our client is looking for a full-time customer service and support candidate to join their growing team. This role will involve many responsibilities, including both software and hardware support for their in-house developed software. This role will work closely with customers as well as the development team to support customers. In addition, this role will work closely with hardware, including the testing and light repair work on company warranty devices. This role will also backup and assist warehouse team members when support is light, or to cover during PTO. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide first-line customer support and answer phone/email support requests Provide remote client support via TeamViewer or other remote access software Identify network communication issues and provide solutions to ensure proper communication via the network Log tickets for all requests and follow up with customers Basic networking including VPN and setup for all peripheral devices Log software bug tickets for dev team review Perform software/hardware testing Replicate software ticket steps to ensure proper resolution Create and test edge cases to software tickets and ensure integrity of the software Test new features for specification and correct use-case Perform light mechanical repair and firmware/software repair Create return paperwork and capture details following RMAs at other repair centers Report on RMA details monthly, per type, etc. Support warehouse when required including packing, shipping, and inventory QUALIFICATIONS Strong computer knowledge including Windows 7/10/11 and Mac OSX systems, software/driver installation, basic hardware/OS support, and networking basics/systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, VPNs, subnets, etc. Basic repair knowledge including using light power tools and screw drivers Soldering skills a plus Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent organizational/time management skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office software Able to lift 50lbs, be comfortable on ladders, and periodic physical labor BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Starting, 2 weeks--- vacation Paid Holidays 401K Health Insurance LOCATION & LOGISTICS Location: Stratford, CT Model: In-office/onsite (Remote work: only during weather emergencies) Employee type: Full-time, Salary Schedule: 40 hours a week, 8:30am --- 5pm, Monday --- Friday Rotating on-call time, including nights and weekends Company Description Bridge Technical Talent is an information technology consulting company that provides experienced consultants for our clients--- project needs.
