Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in protective services, seeks a dedicated Part Time Retail Security Officer to join our team. This role is critical in upholding our mission to ensure the safety and security of the retail environments we serve. You will be on the frontline of implementing our superior security solutions, directly contributing to our ethos of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules in a retail setting. Ensure the security of the building and safety of the staff and patrons. Conduct regular patrols of the property, both on foot and using surveillance equipment. Manage access points to prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas. Respond quickly and effectively to incidents and emergencies following Securitas procedures. Write detailed reports on occurrences during shifts and maintain daily activity logs. Communicate regularly with store management and local law enforcement as necessary. Provide customer service by assisting patrons or staff safely in and around the retail property. Strong observational skills to detect unusual activities and assess situations Ability to operate security devices and equipment Basic knowledge of public safety and security protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Physical fitness to patrol on foot and handle potential emergencies Capability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance State-required security officer training and licensing First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
